With those words, the North Hollywood Detective Club officially begins as teen super-sleuths Jeffrey Jones and Pablo Reyes set out to prove the innocence of Marisol’s brother and rescue him from jail. Their search for a stolen painting leads them to a mysterious pawn shop, a glamorous television star, and a 20-year-old unsolved murder!

This is the first book in a new teen and middle grade mystery series, starring a pair of 14-year-old boys who start their own detective club. If you’re looking for a fun easy-to-read mystery thriller you’ve come to the right place. I designed these books for boys, teens, young adults, and sleuths of all ages. It’s not easy finding good books for boys (or books for girls) – I know, because I’m constantly searching. It’s especially hard finding books for boys who don’t like to read. So I wrote my own. This second book explores the characters more in depth as they race to find a valuable treasure before a killer gets his hands on it. Book Three in this series The Case of the Christmas Counterfeiters is due in summer 2018. It’s the most action-packed book in the series.
