The Hair Washing Zorba comes to the aid of kids who have a hard time getting their hair washed. These lucky children get to experience the magical hairstyles Zorba has learned from his animal friends. Next thing you know, magical things happen and these kids love washing their hair. Thanks Zorba! Raising young children is a wonderful and difficult task. Like most parents, author Erik Ohlsen is always looking for creative solutions for everyday issues that come up in the home. When his kids were younger, getting their hair washed was always a huge battle. During one such battle, Erik spontaneously invented the character Zorba – who has a French (ish) accent and makes funny hairdos inspired by animals while washing children’s hair. The kids loved it! No more screaming and splashing! To this day they still ask when Zorba will come wash their hair again.
